I took up photography while studying at the University of Cambridge and started taking pictures for Varsity, the student newspaper. While I was a student, I went on to become Pictures Editor at the paper and won the 'Best Photographer' award in The Independent's student media awards. I also started to take on professional photography work, photographing live music and submitting images to picture agencies.
Since graduating, I have established myself as a professional photographer who specialises in photographing weddings, portraiture, commercial and PR work. I have recently been listed as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the UK.
In 2008, I started presenting training seminars for wedding photographers in association with Calumet, an international chain of professional photographic equipment stores. New seminars and workshops are announced on a fairly regular basis, so please visit my blog for the latest updates or contact me if you would like to be added to my seminar mailing list.
I am based in Cambridge in England, but I often travel nationally (or even internationally) to take pictures.
My blog is a great way of seeing my latest work.
I photograph weddings as an unobtrusive observer who records your wedding day as you will want to remember it. The wedding photography section of my site will tell you more about my approach to photographing weddings.
Portrait sessions are a great way of recording and showing you and your personality. Find out more about portrait shoots in the portrait photography section.
I take on a wide range of commercial and PR photography jobs, ranging from website and calendar commissions through to photographing major events such as film festivals. You'll find more information in the commercial & PR photography section.
