The final day of the 2009 Cambridge Film Festival was slightly quieter than the rest of the festival in terms of filmmakers arriving to present their films, but a suitably busy finale in terms of screenings and events. As always, the surprise movie was a big draw and this year it was a preview screening of Pixar movie Up.
Director Justin Molotnikov arrived to present Crying With Laughter:
Film festival general manager Paula Beegan introducing the closing night film, The Cove:
Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2009 Cambridge Film Festival, whether you came along to see films, brought your film to the festival, work for the Cambridge Arts Picturehouse or for the festival itself. It's been a great festival and I've enjoyed working with you all.
Until next year…
