Cambridge University Press celebrated the launch of three local interest titles this week with a party at the Pitt Building in central Cambridge. Hosted by the Press's Chief Executive Stephen Bourne and introduced by the managing director of the Academic and Professional Publishing group, Andrew Brown, the evening launched new editions of Central Cambridge (a guide to the central colleges and other parts of the university) and University Politics (which sound devious) as well as a new title, Examining the World (a history of UCLES, the examination board).
