December 2013 update: I'm no longer working as a photographer

In 2009, I launched a company that makes business software for photographers, and now that company is so successful that I've regretfully had to put my photography business on hold indefinitely. You can find out more about this change on my blog.

If you're looking for a photographer, I'm still in touch with many amazing photographers and would be delighted to recommend them to you if you contact me.

MyVision workshop

Posted in Miscellaneous at 17:03 on 17/02/2010

Those of you who follow me on Twitter will have seen that I was part of the first MyVision workshop last week. MyVision is a big departure from most of the photography workshops available in the UK - 20 wedding photographers descended on Brighton, were handed individual assignments and given two days to photograph them, with critique sessions lasting long into the morning after each day of photography.

The point of the workshop is the process of shooting, critiquing and re-shooting rather than the final images, but I've had a few people asking to see pictures and want to give a big thanks to Raystede Animal Sanctuary for giving me access.

Unusually, there's also a load of pictures of me at work, too. Here's me at work, photographed by Jez Dickson:

Here I am during the first night's critique session, photographed by Rob Burress:

And, finally, here are a few of the images that made it into my final slideshow:
