December 2013 update: I'm no longer working as a photographer
In 2009, I launched a company that makes business software for photographers, and now that company is so successful that I've regretfully had to put my photography business on hold indefinitely. You can find out more about this change on my blog.
If you're looking for a photographer, I'm still in touch with many amazing photographers and would be delighted to recommend them to you if you contact me.

Cambridge is a great location for engagement portrait sessions, with a huge variety of locations available in the city centre. I'm photographing Janice & Michael's wedding in Cambridge later in the summer, and we had a great time shooting their engagement portrait session in and around some of the places in Cambridge that mean so much to them.
Here's a selection of a few of my favourite images from Janice & Michael's engagement portrait session in Cambridge.

It's been a busy time here in the run-up to the wedding season, with lots of photography projects on the go including a whole load of engagement portrait sessions here in Cambridge. Here are few of my favourite pictures from some recent sessions.
First, we've got Ruth & Pratheeban, who brought their bikes along with them and were remarkably patient as I made them cycle up and down the same meadow again and again:

Here we've got Claire & Peter, with a portrait session that shows some of the enormous variety of locations within a short walk in the centre of Cambridge:

The wedding season kicks off for me this year in April, so that means that right now it's engagement portrait season! While posed pictures only make up a very small part of my wedding photography, I still enjoy engagement portrait sessions as a great chance to get to know my clients before their wedding day. Sarah & Chris' session was no different, and I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding at Hengrave Hall in the summer.

Although Paula & Pascal are getting married in Glasgow in the summer, I know Paula from Cambridge and we were able to arrange access to Trinity College for their engagement portrait session.
Trinity College is one of my favourite locations for taking pictures in Cambridge, so being able to combine that with working for friends made for a great afternoon. Here are a few of my favourite shots.

It's been a great Spring for engagement portrait sessions here in Cambridge, but with the wedding season now in full swing Spacey and Runlin's engagement portrait is going to be one of my last portrait sessions of the season. I always find these pre-wedding portrait sessions a great way of getting to know the couples whose weddings I'll be photographing later on in the year while getting to know them a bit better, and Spacey & Runlin's session was no different.
Here are a few of my favourite portraits:
