Leonora & Luke got married at the lovely St Etheldreda's church in the City of London before heading over to the Barbican Centre for their wedding reception. While I know the Barbican Centre well from visiting for exhibitions, films and the library, Leonora & Luke's was my first wedding there. Here's a selection of my favourite pictures from their wedding day.

It's all about the reaction shots:

Rachel & Alistair got married at Christ Church in Hampstead, London, before moving onto the nearby Kenwood House for their wedding reception. I photograph a lot of musical weddings, but Rachel & Alistair's wedding ought to win some sort of prize for the ratio of musicians and choir to other guests.
Hampstead is definitely one of the hillier parts of London:

…and that might have been responsible for some latecomers…

This is crying out for a caption competition:

Clare & Alastair are getting married in Cambridgeshire later on this year, but we took advantage of the summer weather for their engagement portrait session here in Cambridge. Here's a selection of my favourite photographs from their portrait session.

The Barbican Centre in London holds lots of fond memories for me, mostly from the many visits my parents took me along for while I was growing up. I don't get to visit The Barbican Centre as much as I used to, so I was delighted to photograph Leonora & Luke's wedding reception there. Their reception took place in the large conservatory of The Barbican Centre, which is a spectacular space. More pictures will follow next week, but in the meantime here's one of Leonora & Luke arriving there after their wedding ceremony at St Etheldreda's Church in the City of London.

Lots of the weddings that I photograph take place in London and give me a chance to visit exciting new venues and parts of town. Rachel & Alastair's wedding took me back to Hampstead for their wedding ceremony at Christ Church, followed by their reception at the nearby Kenwood House. I'll be posting more pictures from their wedding in Hampstead next week, but for now here's one that caught my eye while working on their wedding photographs.
