RAF Club party photographer - Francine & Peter's party
Francine & Peter's party at the RAF Club in central London was my first visit to the RAF Club. It's a great venue for a party and Francine & Peter made good use of it, with drinks in the Presidents' Room followed by dinner in the ballroom.
Here's a selection of my favourite photographs from Francine & Peter's party at the RAF Club in London.

When Francine & Peter got in touch to ask me to photograph their wedding and it turned out that I was already booked to photograph another wedding, I didn't expect to hear from them again. However, Francine got back in touch and was kind enough to say that she loved my photography so much that she wanted me to photograph their post-wedding party instead.
I'll post more pictures from Peter & Francine's party in the near future, but for now here's my favourite photograph from the party. This is Francine giving a speech during dinner:

City of London wedding photographer
I love the variety of wedding venues that I get to work at in London, and Becki & Matthew's wedding in the City of London took me to two new ones. They chose to get married at St Mary Moorfields, a spectacular Catholic church right in the City of London, then ferried their guests to the wedding reception at Stationers' Hall in a pair of red Routemaster buses.
Here's a selection of my favourite photos from Becki & Matthew's wedding in the City of London:

Rainy wedding photographs
I seem to attract particularly relaxed wedding photography clients, couples who do what they want to on their wedding day and don't worry too much about making everything absolutely perfect. That suits my style of wedding photography perfectly, and it means that any of the little hiccups that are bound to happen on a big day like a wedding don't become problems - after all, so long as you're surrounded by your closest friends and family, you're bound to have a great day, regardless of everything running precisely to schedule or a bit of inclement weather.
So, on the subject of inclement weather, we come to Becki & Matthew's wedding in the City of London. After a promisingly warm start to the day, the heavens opened just after their wedding ceremony. No-one seemed to mind, though - out came the brollies and everyone rallied together to get to the wedding reception without getting too wet.
Here's my favourite photograph of the rain at Becki & Matthew's wedding, as the ushers shelter the couple while they run for the bus:

Cambridge college wedding photos - Naoise & John at King's College
I photograph a lot of weddings at Cambridge colleges, so I get to work in some of the most spectacular wedding venues in the country right here on my doorstop. Naoise & John got married at King's College, which is often used as the clichéd image of Cambridge. Like all good clichés though, there's a good reason for it - King's College's imposing chapel is a fantastic landmark and the Carols from King's service that's broadcast every Christmas Eve is one of the great Cambridge-related traditions.
Naoise & John chose to get married in King's College chapel, followed by a drinks reception on the lawn that backs onto the River Cam. Finally, dinner was served in the college hall, which is one of the darkest and most atmospheric wedding venues I've ever worked in. Here's a selection of my favourite photographs from their Cambridge college wedding.
