Wedding photography at Kitley House, Devon: Corinne & Matthew

August has been a busy month full of weddings in interesting locations and last weekend was no different. I travelled all the way over to Devon for Corinne & Matthew's wedding in Yealmpton and the Kitley House Hotel, but that's nothing compared to the couple or most of the guests. Corinne & Matthew travelled back from New York to Corinne's home village in Devon and lots of their guests had come from the USA, so their wedding day featured a mixture of British and US traditions.

I don't usually get to photograph the groom's preparations, but Matthew was getting ready just a few doors away from Corinne so it was too good an opportunity to pass up:

I call them "speeches". The American guests called them "toasts". Whatever they're called, I enjoy photographing them!
