Sarah & David's wedding photos: Great St Mary's and Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge

Gonville & Caius College is one of my favourite Cambridge colleges, so it was a pleasure to return there for the second time this year for Sarah & David's wedding. It's always great to photograph weddings at venues that the bride and groom have a personal connection to and, since Sarah is a fellow of Gonville & Caius, you don't get a much closer connection than that.

Sarah & David's wedding was my first at Great St Mary's, the University of Cambridge's church. In some ways it is quite literally the centre of university life in that undergraduates have to live within a certain distance of Great St Mary's as one of the conditions of receiving their degree. In Sarah & David's case, it was just a short walk from Great St Mary's to Caius for their wedding reception.
