December 2013 update: I'm no longer working as a photographer

In 2009, I launched a company that makes business software for photographers, and now that company is so successful that I've regretfully had to put my photography business on hold indefinitely. You can find out more about this change on my blog.

If you're looking for a photographer, I'm still in touch with many amazing photographers and would be delighted to recommend them to you if you contact me.

Light Blue: Photo, studio management software for photographers, updated to v1.1

Posted in Light Blue Software at 18:24 on 06/04/2009

We worked hard to make Light Blue: Photo 1.0 comprehensive, but we were never going to rest on our laurels; we've been beavering away to add some new features and remove some gremlins which crept through our net. Thanks to our trusty band of beta testers, we've kicked the tyres and topped up the oil, given everything a final polish and let it out on the world. Light Blue: Photo 1.1 is now available for download.

If you've already registered your copy, you can upgrade for free; if not, download the full version for a (newly-extended) 30-day trial. If you like what you see, you can buy it from our website for the special introductory price of just £325, including VAT.

To find out what's new in Light Blue: Photo 1.1, check http://www.lightbluesoftware.com/news for the full release notes.

Light Blue: Photo - studio management software for photographers

Posted in Light Blue Software at 11:30 on 04/02/2009

I mentioned a short while ago that my blog has been quiet because I've been working on a new project. The Light Blue Software website went live this week, so I can talk about it at last!

Light Blue Software is a new company I've set up to market Light Blue: Photo, the studio management system I wrote to run both my photography business and Helen Bartlett's children's portraiture business. Light Blue: Photo is full of useful things that will help you run a busy and successful photography business, and it also makes it easy to manage your image files, publish them on the web and profit from them.

Go to the Light Blue Software website to find out more about Light Blue: Photo. You can download a free 14-day trial version and there are plenty of video tutorials to get you started.
