December 2013 update: I'm no longer working as a photographer

In 2009, I launched a company that makes business software for photographers, and now that company is so successful that I've regretfully had to put my photography business on hold indefinitely. You can find out more about this change on my blog.

If you're looking for a photographer, I'm still in touch with many amazing photographers and would be delighted to recommend them to you if you contact me.

Kent wedding photography: Laura & Alan's wedding

Posted in Wedding Photography at 13:49 on 01/06/2010

Laura & Alan got married in Kent on one of the hottest days of the year so far. Their wedding day started with their church wedding ceremony in the village of Sandhurst, then moved onto Laura's family's farm for the reception. On our way to the reception, we stopped off to take some wedding day portraits in the bluebell woods - it's not often that I get to combine my love of woodland with wedding photography. Here are a few favourites from Laura & Alan's wedding in Kent.

Luckily, the bell ringers told me to be careful about not walking backwards into them before the wedding, rather than during the recessional:

Cambridge (and the fens in general) isn't famous for its hills, so they have novelty value for me, especially when they look this gorgeous. Kent wins on that front!

Helen and Joerg and getting married at Downing College in the summer. For their engagement portrait session, we explored some some of the green areas near my new home by the Chesterton end of the River Cam before heading into the city centre. Here are a few of my favourite pictures from their portrait session.

Vicky & Hywel's engagement portrait session

Posted in Portrait Photography at 13:38 on 01/06/2010

Vicky & Hywel are getting married in Cambridge and their wedding reception is taking place at the lovely Anstey Hall, which is located in the village of Trumpington, just outside Cambridge. For their engagement portrait session, we headed down to the banks of the River Cam, which are full of the fresh greenery of Spring.
