Light Blue Software at 15:35 on 30/07/2009
It's been a busy couple of months for me. Not only is the wedding photography season in full swing, but I've been hard at work with Hamish at Light Blue Software to release our biggest update to date.
Light Blue: Photo is a flexible studio management system for professional photographers, and the new version is such a big update that we decided to skip straight from version 1.2 to 1.5. The list of new features starts off with:
A comprehensive purchase accounts and inventory system.
An elegant integrated email system, including templates and HTML newsletter functionality.
Support for publishing your shoots to Google Calendar as well as iCal, letting our Windows users join in with the calendar publishing fun.
The ability to import orders from ProSelect.
There's a whole host of other new features. You can find out more and download a free trial from the Light Blue Software website, where you can learn all about our photography studio software.
We're celebrating the launch of Light Blue: Photo 1.5 in our own special way. If you use the discount code 'PARTY' (without the quotes) when registering Light Blue: Photo in the next two weeks (i.e. it expires on 14 August) then you'll receive a 10% discount.

The summer wedding season is in full swing and last weekend saw Jemma and Dan get married in Cambridgeshire. A break in the summer's wet weather made for a great day for their wedding in the village of Stapleford near Cambridge, followed by their wedding reception at South Farm in Cambridgeshire.
Here's a selection of my favourite photographs for Jemma & Dan's wedding in Cambridgeshire.

Emily & Jan married each other in Emily's home village of Haslingfield. Haslingfield is one of the many small villages with gorgeous churches that can be found near Cambridge and yet another reason why it's great to be a wedding photographer based in Cambridge!
Here are a few of my favourite photographs from Emily & Jan's wedding in Cambridgeshire:
