December 2013 update: I'm no longer working as a photographer

In 2009, I launched a company that makes business software for photographers, and now that company is so successful that I've regretfully had to put my photography business on hold indefinitely. You can find out more about this change on my blog.

If you're looking for a photographer, I'm still in touch with many amazing photographers and would be delighted to recommend them to you if you contact me.

Client feedback section added

Posted in Wedding Photography at 13:45 on 20/08/2007

One of the highlights of working as a wedding photographer is the feedback I get from my clients. In no other field of photography do you have the opportunity to work with people on one of the happiest days of their lives, documenting the occasion to provide them with a memento that will last their whole life and then become a family heirloom. It means a lot to me to be able to do this and today I want to share some of the feedback that inspires me to push my approach to wedding photography ever further by adding a new "Feedback" page to this site.

We searched for ages to find a photographer and when we went to meet Tom we fell in love with his work, his passion and his eye for detail. The great thing about Tom's work is that he was on the same wavelength as us, we didn't want the traditional, formulaic, posed formal photographs and he understood that from the very beginning. Tom was truly brilliant to work with, we never once worried or stressed as we knew that his photographs would be amazing.

When we saw the images from the wedding, we were astounded. It brought back all the memories of the most amazing day ever. He caught everything and things that you don't even see at the time. We would recommend Tom a trillion times over and over and over.

Katherine & Adrian's wedding: Trinity & Magdelane Colleges

Posted in Wedding Photography at 21:38 on 14/08/2007

I do a lot of weddings at Cambridge colleges, but this weekend's was slightly unusual in that Katherine & Adrian got married at Trinity College and then proceeded to Magdelane College for their wedding reception. With such spectacular settings it was bound to be an impressive wedding, but it was also one of the most emotional ceremonies I've ever photographed!

Andrea & Andrew's wedding: Knapwell church & The Willow Tree

Posted in Wedding Photography at 16:47 on 10/08/2007

Andrea & Andrew's wedding coincided with the first proper weekend of summer weather, so it was entirely appropriate for everyone to take a break for cream teas between the service and dinner! After getting ready together at their house, Andrea & Andrew got married in Knapwell's parish church before going onto their reception at The Willow Tree in Bourne.
