I'm back in Cambridge for the Cambridge Film Festival, which opened in spectacular style with the premiere of Hawking, a feature-length documentary about the life of Professor Stephen Hawking. With all of Professor Hawking's close links to Cambridge, it was a huge event that took over all three screens of the Arts Picturehouse. Additionally, the Q&A hosted by Krishnan Guru-Murthy after the film was broadcast via satellite link to dozens of other cinemas around the country.
Here's a selection of my pictures from the event, starting with a portrait of Professor Stephen Hawking and then a cheeky self-portrait…
Special guests from The Big Bang Theory for the Q&A:

I've been lucky enough to be booked to photograph weddings at Christ's College in Cambridge for the last several years, and it's always a pleasure to return. The college is full of beautiful sandstone architecture, and the Fellows' Gardens with their wonderful old trees make for a great location for a drinks reception.
Janice & Michael got married at Our Lady and the English Martyrs - Cambridge's largest Catholic church - before heading over to Christ's College for their wedding reception. Their wedding ceremony fitted the grand venue perfectly, with plenty of special moments for me to capture as well as wonderful music that I'll have to leave to your imagination. Here's a selection of my favourite images from Janice & Michael's wedding ceremony, and I'll follow them up with a set of pictures from their wedding reception at Christ's College.
Here we move onto Janice & Michael's wedding reception at the lovely Christ's College in Cambridge:
