December 2013 update: I'm no longer working as a photographer

In 2009, I launched a company that makes business software for photographers, and now that company is so successful that I've regretfully had to put my photography business on hold indefinitely. You can find out more about this change on my blog.

If you're looking for a photographer, I'm still in touch with many amazing photographers and would be delighted to recommend them to you if you contact me.

Helen Bartlett speaking at the 2009 SWPP convention

Posted in Seminars at 09:15 on 27/12/2008

My blog has been a bit quiet over the last few weeks because I've been away a lot, both for Christmas and because I've been working on a top secret project that will be revealed on here soon.

There'll be some more wedding photos on here soon because I'm photographing what promises to be a great wedding at The Landmark Hotel on Marylebone High St today. In the meantime, I'm going to draw your attention to a talk that my girlfriend Helen Bartlett is going to be presenting at the 2009 SWPP convention in January.

Helen is a fantastically talented children's portraiture photographer and will be presenting a talk titled "Childhood in children's portraiture - myth or reality?". Helen's approach to photographing children is to provide them with real memories of their childhood and in her talk she'll be covering the development of a signature style, activity-based photo shoots and natural light shooting.

Helen's masterclass is being presented at 18:00 on Saturday 17 January 2009. To find out more, visit the SWPP's convention site.

Selwyn College, Cambridge: rugby photos

Posted in Commercial and PR at 20:51 on 02/12/2008

As part of an ongoing project, I've been photographing various aspects of life at my old college, Selwyn College. This weekend found me getting cold and wet while photographing the college rugby team. I think the college had expected me to cancel because of the weather, but from what I remember of playing rugby at school (trust me, I've tried to forgetů), I thought that getting cold and wet was what it's all about.
