December 2013 update: I'm no longer working as a photographer

In 2009, I launched a company that makes business software for photographers, and now that company is so successful that I've regretfully had to put my photography business on hold indefinitely. You can find out more about this change on my blog.

If you're looking for a photographer, I'm still in touch with many amazing photographers and would be delighted to recommend them to you if you contact me.

John Hurt visited Cambridge yesterday along with Gary Oldman to open the 2011 Cambridge Film Festival with a special preview of the brilliant film adaptation of John le Carre's Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. I had the opportunity of grabbing him for the whole of 30 seconds during a photo call to take this portrait of him in the grounds of Emmanuel College. John Hurt's got such an amazing face that I would love to have been able to spend longer (perhaps even as long as five minutes - I work fast ;-) ) photographing him.
