Tilda Swinton is one of the 2008 Cambridge Film Festival's star guests, introducing the UK premiere of her new film Julia and appearing in most of the films that comprise the Derek Jarman: Remembered season.

The usual pressures of time at the film festival meant that all of my plans to photograph Tilda had to be scrapped at the last minute so, once again, improvisation rode to the rescue...
