I am a wedding photographer near Essex. A recent list named me one of the UK's ten best wedding photographers. My pictures tell stories, recording your wedding day as a photojournalist watching the day unfold.
Listed as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the UK.
How do I get my pictures to tell stories? I like to be as close as discretion allows me to get to the action, which gives me a more intimate picture of your day than some wedding photographers in Essex who stay removed from the fun.
To be in place to capture all of the the most crucial moments of the day, I work quietly and tactfully among you and your guests.
The main tools in my kit are light and colour, which I use to make images which are concentrated mainly on people and their relationships.
Only very occasionally do I use flash, which can destroy the atmosphere in wedding photographs. The natural light available is a far better medium to portray the special mood of each wedding I shoot.
I will work happily in churches lit only with candles, and I'm equally ready to turn my style to a bright modern hall. When it comes to getting the best record of your wedding's unique feel, you will get the benefit of all my photographic experience and judgement.
The photographs I take will comprise a strong portfolio mixing black & white images (where composition and lighting will show your wedding's timeless) with colour (to emphasis the day's more striking moments).
At the end of the wedding and, of course, your honeymoon, I will make sure you get the very best from my work. I prepare a bespoke wedding album for many of my clients, although some prefer the flexibilty offered by a licenced set of digital files. Whatever your preference, your wedding photoraphs will come with the ideal mix of my professional skills and the freedom to use the pictures as you want to use them.
