I am a wedding photographer based near Hertfordshire and one of the top ten wedding photographers in the UK. I approach my work as a photojournalist, capturing images which will tell the stories of your wedding day.
Listed as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the UK.
How do I make my images tell stories? I try to get close to the action, to gain a vantage, and get a more intimate record of your day than some Hertfordshire wedding photographers who keep themselves withdrawn from the fun.
It is vital that I work with tact, both to ensure I keep out of your way, and to help me get the best pictures I can, but I make sure I'm in place to capture your wedding's key moments.
Light and colour, are two critical parts of the toolkit, out of which I build images with a strong focus on people and their relationships.
I tend to avoid flash, which I find saps the atmosphere from wedding photographs. The natural light available is far better for me to represent a wedding's special character, and I will work with this whether you get choose a bright modern hall or a candlelit church for your venue.
All my photographic experience and judgement will go towards getting the best record of your wedding's particular mood. At the end you will receive a strong portfolio mixing black & white images (which show off your wedding's timeless qualities) with colour (to underline the day's espcially striking moments).
When the wedding day is over, I offer a bespoke wedding album, which many of my clients choose. Some, however, prefer the flexibilty a licenced set of digital files gives them. Whatever you decide, I will help you to get the best from my work, through the ideal mix of professional skill and the freedom for you to use the images as you please.
