I am a wedding photographer working in London, recently listed in the UK's top ten, with a photojournalist's approach to my work. I shoot each wedding as the day unfolds to best tell its stories.
Listed as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the UK.
How do I get those images which tell stories? I take a perspective close to the action from which I can make a more intimate record of your wedding than some London wedding photographers whose instinct keeps them away from the fun.
My photography gives particular focus to people and their relationships, and it is therefore crucial for me to work with tact. I have work unobtrusively among you and your guests, but remaining unobtrusive is also essential in allowing me to capture the key moments of your wedding in the best possible pictures.
Subtle use of light and colour are the main components of my photojournalistic approach. Wherever it is possible, I avoid flash, which destroys the atmosphere in wedding photography. I much prefer to work with natural light, however little is available, to allow me to photograph a wedding's special character. In bright modern halls or candlelit churches, I can find the light that best reflects the unique mood of your wedding.
To best represent your wedding, I will draw on all my photographic experience and judgement, preparing a portfolio that combines timeless black & white images, strong on composition, with eyecatching colour ones.
Many of my clients (once they are back from their honeymoon) order a bespoke album of their wedding photographs. Others opt for flexibilty in a licenced set of digital files. Whatever you choose, I will prepare your images, offering the ideal mix of professional skill and freedom to use the photographs to suit your preferences. In this way you will always get the very best from my work.
