I am a wedding photographer in East Anglia. Named among the UK's ten best wedding photographers recently, I see my work as photojournalism. My pictures tell stories, recording your wedding day as it unfolds.

How do I tell the stories of your wedding? I get as close as to the action as discretion allows, to give me a more intimate picture of your day than some East Anglia wedding photography which is rather more distant.

To make sure I'm in place to capture the most important moments of the day, I have to work tactfuly among you and your guests.

The main tools in my kit are light and colour, which I deploy to create a series of images focused on people and their relationships.

I only use flash very occasionally, as I find it can ruin the atmosphere of wedding photography. Instead, I use whatever natural light there is to capture the tone of each particular wedding.

Churches lit by candles present no problems and bright modern halls are equaly well-suited to my approach. All my experience and judgement goes into getting the best record of your wedding's unique feel.

I will present you with a portfolio of strong images mixing black & white (to best show your wedding through composition and lighting) and colour (which will bring out the day's more striking moments).

Getting the most out of your wedding pictures

Following the wedding and of course, your honeymoon, I help you to get the very best out of my work. Many clients prefer that I prepare a bespoke wedding album for them, although some choose the flexibilty they can gain from a licenced set of digital files. Whatever your choice, I'll ensure you get the ideal mix of my professional skills and the freedom to use your wedding pictures as you decide they should be used.
