I am a wedding photographer working in Essex, recently listed one of the top ten wedding photographers in the UK. I work as a photojournalist, capturing images which will tell stories of your wedding day as it unfolds.

How do my images tell stories? I aim to be as close to the action as discretion will allow, giving me a vantage to take a more intimate record of your day than some Essex wedding photographery which keeps itself back from the fun.

I make sure I'm in place to capture your wedding's key moments, both the big and small ones, and working with tact is essential both to ensure I keep out of your way, and to help me get the best pictures I can.

Light and colour, are two essential parts of my toolkit, which I use to make images focused on people and their relationships.

It is rare for me to use flash, which I find can detract from the atmosphere in wedding photography. The natural light available is far better for reprsenting a wedding's unique feel, and I will work with this whether you get married in a bright modern hall or a candlelit church.

I will put all my photographic experience and judgement to getting the best record of your wedding's particular mood, presenting you with a strong portfolio that mixes black & white images (to show your wedding's timeless quality through their composition and lighting) and colour (to give emphasis to the day's more striking moments).

Getting the most out of your wedding pictures

I make sure that you can get the absolute best from my work. I offer a bespoke wedding album, which many of my clients choose, though some prefer the flexibilty offered by a licenced set of digital files. However you decide to take your wedding photographs, I will provide the ideal mix of professional skill and the freedom for you to use the images as you decide they should be used.
