I am a wedding photographer working in Hertfordshire, and among the UK's top ten in a recent listing. My approach to wedding photography is that of a photojournalist; I shoot the images which will best tell the stories of your day.

How do get those images to tell stories? I try to stay close to the action, and from that, I gain a vantage giving me a more intimate record of your wedding than some Hertfordshire wedding photography which stays out of the fray.

My photography focuses on people and their relationships, and it is crucial that I work with tact. This keeps my presence is unobtrusive to you and your guests, as well as to making sure I can get the best possible pictures, capturing all your wedding's key moments.

Among the tools I use to create these images, light and colour are the most important.

Where possible I avoid flash, which drains the atmosphere from wedding photography. I much prefer using natural light, however much or little is available, to represent a wedding's special character. Be it a bright modern hall or a candlelit church, I will always find the best light to reflect your day's unique mood.
