Sample wedding galleries
As described in the introduction to my approach to wedding photography, I take a photojournalistic approach to wedding photography that ensures that every picture I take both tells its own story and fits into the wider narrative of your wedding day. While each image stands alone in its own right, what I give you is a complete picture essay that will be treasured by you and your family for generations.
My portfolio is a great way to get an overview of my style, but to get a true sense of how it will work on your wedding day you need to see the way that all of the pictures I'll be taking for you will fit together. Each of these galleries are taken from a single wedding day.
Jessica & Simon's wedding at Longstowe Hall in Cambridgeshire
Jessica & Simon got married at the lovely Longstowe Hall, which is one of my favourite venues in Cambridgeshire. Longstowe Hall has only recently started hosting weddings but has already established itself as one of the most prestigious venues in Cambridgeshire. Jessica & Simon held their civil ceremony inside Longstowe Hall and their reception in the grounds and marquee.
Hannah & Michael's wedding at Magdalene College in Cambridge
I photograph a lot of weddings in Cambridge colleges, but Hannah & Michael's wedding at Magdalene College was full of first for me: my first bride arriving by punt, my first Jewish wedding ceremony, my first outdoor wedding ceremony and my first groom wearing white. I've photographed Royal Navy weddings before, but the US Navy dress uniform is definitely more suitable for summer weather than our dark blue uniforms!
Nallini & Samrat's wedding in India
I've photographed Indian weddings in the UK before, but Nallini & Samrat's wedding was my first wedding in India itself. Their wedding was two-day event in the spectacular Neemrana fort-palace (for those of you who've been to India or have an atlas to hand, that's on the Delhi to Jaipur highway).
Michaela & Jim's wedding at Syon House in London
Michaela & Jim got married at the beautiful Syon House in Richmond. Set in the enormous Syon Park, Syon House is a wonderful wedding venue - the house itself is stunning and the conservatory that's used for the wedding breakfast has to be seen to be believed.
Lowri & Ben's church and marquee wedding in Oxford
Marquees are a great place to hold a wedding reception in - they shelter you from the sun on a hot day, protect you from the elements if the weather's bad, and they look great in photographs. Lowri & Ben got married in St Giles' Church in the centre of Oxford before heading over to Green Templeton College for their marquee wedding reception.
