Wedding photography services & products
The introduction to my style of wedding photography explains how I would photograph your wedding day and provide you with a set of pictures that records it as you'll want to remember it. As well as giving you a great set of pictures from your wedding day, my services are designed to help you get the most out of them.
A complete service
No two weddings are the same, so the first step is to work out how my services will fit into your wedding day. An initial consultation can be combined with visiting me to take a look at more of my work and see examples of my wedding albums. However, many of my clients choose to book me over the phone or via email if they want to secure my services but aren't able to visit me in Cambridge until nearer their wedding day.
Prices for packages including print-ready digital files start at £1,650.
Choosing how long you want me to be at your wedding will determine the range of images that will appear in your final selection of pictures. Each part of the day contributes to the character of your wedding, from the preparations of the bride, surrounded by close friends and family, to the evening entertainment. I can be on hand to capture the atmosphere of the moment as well as the intimacies and details that can get lost in the emotional rush of the day.
Bespoke wedding albums and lasting memories
The best way of presenting my style of wedding photography is in a custom-made wedding album. While each of the pictures I'll be taking on your wedding day tells its own story, the albums that I design showcase these images as part of a larger narrative.
The best wedding photographs become family heirlooms and both my photography and albums are designed to stand the test of time. I avoid gimmicks in my style and only use album suppliers whose products will look as good in 50 years' time as they do today.
Designing albums that tell stories
Modern wedding albums are very different to traditional, one-picture-per-page albums; the flexibility they provide makes album design more important than ever. I make it as simple as possible for you to get the best possible result by using my expertise to design your wedding album for you.
When you return from your honeymoon, I'll present your album design to you. Your album will be designed to show your wedding day at its best and you will have the flexibility of choosing how much of the design you want to include in your final album.
Album styles & materials
Your wedding album will be handmade by one of the world's finest album suppliers. Their craftsmanship will turn your unique album design into a lasting memento of your wedding day, and offers you a range of options for further personalising your album.
Formats ranging from 12"-square through to 18" x 12" albums are available in a range of different cover materials and page types, ranging from the simple and timeless combination of a black leather cover and white pages through to a blue silk cover and black pages. Both traditional matted album pages and modern digitally printed album pages are available to suit your preference; my collection of sample albums will show you all of the options.
Print-ready digital files
A licenced set of print-ready digital file from your wedding is one of the most popular wedding photography services that I offer.
Many of my clients are either keen photographers, work in creative industries or simply enjoy the freedom that digital photography gives them to enjoy their wedding photos however they want.
Using your digital files
I supply digital files in a way that makes them easy to use. Your images are resized and optimised for printing at a variety of sizes. I also provide versions suitable for emailing to friends, using on Facebook, your blog, or any other web site.
Your digital files will be accompanied by a guide to getting the most out of them, which includes a recommendation for a lab that can print them for you and guidelines for making sure that you can continue to enjoy them for years to come. They are supplied with a licence that allows you to print them for your own personal use - all reputable labs will ask for proof that your photographer has authorised you to make prints of your wedding pictures.
Once you've decided that you would like me to photograph your wedding, you need to sign a copy of my booking form and pay a retainer to secure my services for your wedding date.
Most peak dates are booked up to a year in advance so, in order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to contact me as soon as you've made your decision.
